Velvet Rope is going through some changes!

We’ve decided to post our online zine through-out the week, versus five or six articles all at one time. Now you’ll have more coverage of your local entertainment scene 7 days a week! This is all starting this week with Issue 36.

On a sad note, our Editor in Chief, Katy Butters, has resigned. Bad for us, good for her as she continues on to the next chapter of her career. We are looking for someone new – serious inquires can be emailed to me.

Remember, you can still find VR at your favourite local hub, but did you know that we also distribute in London, Brantford, and Stratford?

Likewise, the 2012 VR Reader’s Choice Best Of Survey is landing October, 2012. Thanks for voting for your favourite – well, everything! I loved seeing the answers roll in, and am impressed by the time and attention VR readers gave to supporting their favourite local bands, businesses, and hot-spots.
