Dragonette Performs at the Wax
While the summer comes to a close, and the weather-folk predict a cruel, harsh, winter, downtown Kitchener is blazing and heating up the chill by providing some of the hottest artists to our city down the street from Toronto.
Accompanying the pop-synth-rock heroes are special guests Young Empires, Data Romance, and duo Dog Bus (yes, I still wish I had a robot.) Brought to you from the guys who turned Kitchener City’s core into a full-fledged rock concert under the moniker KOI Music Festival, Arc Cloathing ensure tomorrow night’s show will be nothing short of a party you need to be in attendance for.
From springing out of Toronto in 2005 to taking home the Canadian-coveted Juno in 2012 for their summer-slam dance track ‘Hello’, Dragonette serve up yet another tasty dish with their recently released Bodyparts. The album, with its monstrous club anthem ‘Let it Go’ (& its fabulous video), cements the group among the elite musicians our country has to offer.
It’s so simple – get off your ass and get a ticket.
